Hello everyone,My name is Adin bin Jarun and I have a passion for teaching that has driven me to help students excel in their studies. With one year of experience teaching English and Science online to primary and secondary students, I have honed my skills in creating engaging and effective learning experiences. In addition to my work with younger learners, I am also an English lecturer with expertise in teaching the Malaysian University English Test (MUET). I look forward to continuing my journey in education and helping more students achieve their academic goals.
Teaching Method(s)
One effective teaching technique I use for teaching English is the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) approach. This method focuses on real-life communication and interaction. I integrate this technique by utilizing several methods of teaching and learning such as using pair work, group work, and role-plays to get students to speak and practice English in real situations, bringing in real-life materials like news articles, videos, and dialogues to show how English is used daily, encourage students to express themselves without worrying too much about mistakes, which helps them become more fluent, design tasks where students use English to achieve specific goals, making learning more engaging and practical and I also provide constructive feedback and correct errors in a way that builds confidence and improves skills.Subject
