Hi, Iam Fatin. I am fully qualified to teach all primary Islamic subjects, with a solid foundation in both religious and academic content suitable for young learners. I have experience tutoring 14 students individually, providing tailored guidance to help them improve in their studies. My approach is patient, engaging, and adapted to each student’s needs to ensure they gain a strong understanding of the subjects. With a passion for teaching and a commitment to my students’ success, I strive to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
Teaching Method(s)
Islamic Subjects (Aqidah, Fiqh, Sirah, Jawi, etc.):
A typical lesson with me begins with a short review of the previous topic to ensure the student remembers key points. I then introduce the new topic clearly and concisely, using simple language and examples that relate to daily life. After the explanation, I will give the student a set of exercises to reinforce their understanding. I believe that consistent practice is one of the most effective ways to help students truly grasp the content. If the student finds a particular concept difficult—such as a ruling in Fiqh or understanding a story in Sirah—I will go over it again using visuals, analogies, or storytelling to make it easier to understand. My goal is to make Islamic learning meaningful and memorable.
Academic Subjects (e.g., Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu):
When teaching academic subjects, my style is very exercise-focused because I believe students learn best when they apply what they’ve learned. For example, in a Math lesson, I would start with 1–2 example questions and then let the student attempt similar ones with my guidance. If they make a mistake or feel confused, I pause to explain the concept again in a simpler way, sometimes using real-life examples or visual aids. This method helps students develop confidence in problem-solving. I also adjust the difficulty level of exercises based on the student’s progress to ensure they are always being challenged at the right pace.
