About Me

I am a fast learner and have excellent skills in time management and strategic planning. Therefore, I think I am capable in managing my time properly even I need to do tutor while being a full time student. As I am furthering my studies in bachelor degree, I learnt quite a lot of things especially things related to students’ interest and well fare. Thus I am pretty sure that I am able to understand students’ feelings better. I am known to be friendly and caring among my friends but I am also quite a firm person. Thus I will give my best to help students achieving results that would make their parents proud of them. Talking about work experience, I did a few part time jobs during past semester breaks such as a barista at a well known cafe, an operator at a manufacturing company and a kitchen helper at school canteen but none of them is related to being a tutor. In fact, I have never attended any tutor class (I attended boarding school during my teenage years). Therefore, I am seeking this opportunities to learn and gain experiences in this field, on the other hands, to help the students learn with passion.

Teaching Method(s)

Based on my past experiences being a student, I have a few suggestions in teaching methods. The usage of teaching aids such as flashcards could not only enhance students’ memory but also, making the environment more fun and stress-free. Besides, in my opinion, quizzes also will help to gain students’ attention after every single class.
