I’m Shre and I have a BSc (Hons) in Applied Psychology and Management from Nottingham University.

I now formally work as a research associate at a private business university in Kuala Lumpur. My research is mostly socioeconomic with special focuses on migration studies and marginalised populations.

I have 4 years of tutoring/teaching experience in a wide range of subjects from art, sejarah (secondary),
science (primary - Form 3), English (beginner - advanced), Malay (beginner- intermediate) to university subjects like business studies, introductory economics, marketing, developmental psychology and qualitative research methods.

For my most recent teaching experience, I had gone to Sandakan to carry out a 3 Day entrepreneurship bootcamps for Form 4 students across 4 schools. Each school averaged at 50 participants. The Bootcamp was carried out in Bahasa Melayu. I had integrated games and activities to the lectures that comprised of (1) Value Proposition, (2) Customers and Channels, (3) Costing and Pricing.

With a strong background in the psychology of learning, I believe that no one methods fits every student. I normally integrate memory devices and games into my mode of teaching. I also believe in allowing space for increased autonomy for the student and allow them to set the tone for their classes to maximise effectiveness and efficiency.
