Hi! My Name is Nur Syaza. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science with Education (Chemistry) at UTM Johor Bahru. I have a passion for teaching and am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals. I specialize in science and mathematics subjects, and I have strong communication skills, making me effective at working with children of various ages. In addition to my academic background, I have valuable experience as a part-time online tutor, where I have taught Science and Mathematics to both primary and secondary school students, as well as Chemistry specifically for secondary school. I can also help pre-school with reading and counting, and I am comfortable teaching both BM and DLP students. My experience with online tuition has strengthened my ability to engage students in a virtual setting, ensuring they stay motivated and make progress. I am sure that my skills, experience, and enthuasiasm for education will make a positive impact for my students.
Teaching Method(s)
In my online class, I apply collaborative learning by encouraging students to work together on problem-solving activities and discussions, fostering teamwork and peer learning.
To enhance engagement, I integrate gamification by using interactive quizzes on platforms like Kahoot and Quizizz, awarding points and badges to motivate students.
Additionally, I use interactive whiteboards like Jamboard or Miro to visualize concepts, solve problems step-by-step, and allow students to contribute in real time. This makes learning more interactive and engaging.
