Hi I’m Isa. I’ve been teaching for 2 years now at a local tuition centre in Nibong Tebal. My major is English and I can teach to all different kind of learners both primary and secondary levels. I can also teach math and history to primary school students.My experience is not just limited to teaching at a tuition centre only, I’ve also taught primary and secondary school students under the MyStep Guru Ganti programme for about 5 months (March-May and June-July contracts). I’m an open-minded and easygoing kinda teacher. I believe it helps to bridge the gap between the students and the teacher.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching method includes both traditional and the current 21st century learning. For example, I will drill in my students the grammar and language through repetition and memorising(behaviouristic approach). At the same time, I will enforce their learning by using graphics, songs and etc. Well it depends on each students’ learning preferences. Tutoring sometimes need a different approach than at school. So teacher-student communication and adapting the learning and teaching to suit the student are the key to successful learning session.Subject
