Hi, you can call me Miss Serina! I am known for creating a friendly and comfortable learning environment for my students. While I have been helping peers and friends throughout my studies, I am now excited to formally share my knowledge as a tutor. I can teach primary and secondary school students, focusing on subjects like Science, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. Additionally, I can assist with subjects such as Additional Mathematics and basic Biochemistry. One of my key skills is the ability to explain concepts clearly, helping students truly understand the subject rather than just memorizing. I strongly believe that understanding concepts is the key to academic success. One of my proudest achievements is graduating with a Diploma in Science from UiTM Tapah, earning the Vice Chancellor’s Award. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomolecular Science (Hons), where I am specialising in topics such as Immunology, Microbial Pathogenicity, Applied Microbiology and Biochemistry. I am passionate about helping students reach their academic goals through effective guidance and support. 😊

I focus on ensuring students truly understand what they are learning. I have studied Science and Mathematics in English language from elementary school to my degree, and I teach these subjects in English language only. For subjects like Biology and Chemistry, I explain the concepts clearly to help students build a strong foundation. For Mathematics and Physics, I start by explaining the topic, then demonstrate problem-solving techniques step-by-step using examples. To reinforce concept understanding, I use the Feynman Technique, where I encourage students to explain the material back to me in their own words. For Mathematics and Physics, practice is essential. I provide plenty of practice questions, starting with easier problems and gradually tackling more challenging ones, to help students strengthen their problem-solving skills and assess their understanding. I believe that every student has their own unique learning style—whether they learn best through visual aids, listening, or hands-on activities. Rest assured, I am flexible and will adapt my teaching methods to suit what works best for each student. Whether it is using diagrams for visual learners, explaining concepts verbally for auditory learners, or engaging in written exercises for kinesthetic learners, I will tailor my approach to ensure the student fully understands the material.
