About Me
Hi! I’m Teacher Hani!

I have been gaining valuable experience in the teaching field through secondary school practicums in 2023 and 2024, and now I am a teacher at a secondary school in Selangor. My primary subject specialization is English language, and I am also skilled in teaching Bahasa Melayu especially for primary school as based on tutor experiences. I am passionate about creating dynamic, interactive learning environments that inspire students to grow academically, develop critical thinking skills, and build confidence in their abilities.

One of my most significant achievements is serving as the main facilitator for the ‘Power Writing Technique’ workshop with Form 3 students at SMK Seri Iskandar, Perak. This opportunity allowed me to guide students in mastering effective writing strategies, enhancing their performance and love for the subject.

Teaching Method(s)
1. ‘Greedy, Rosmah, Ate, Eleven, Chicken, Salad’ Technique for Email Writing
To help students master the email-writing format easily, I introduced a memorable acronym: ‘Greedy, Rosmah, Ate, Eleven, Chicken, Salad.’ This stands for Greeting, Respond, Answer, Elaborate, Conclude, and Signing out. Using this creative technique, students can recall the key components of an email and confidently structure their responses with a clear and correct format.
2. Interactive Learning with ‘Bingo’ for Context Clues
I designed a ‘Bingo’ activity as a teaching aid (BBM) to engage students in finding context clues. This interactive game encourages active participation and critical thinking as students work to identify the right answers, making the learning process fun and effective.
3. ‘The Rollercoaster’ for Narrative Essay Structure
I created ‘The Rollercoaster’ as a visual and interactive teaching aid to help students remember the structure of narrative essays. By associating the ups and downs of a rollercoaster with the plot development—introduction, rising action, climax, falling action, and resolution—students can better grasp how to organize their writing creatively and cohesively.

I frequently incorporate gaming and interactive learning strategies in my lessons, recognizing that Form 1 to Form 3 students are highly imaginative and creative. By using these methods, I foster excitement, engagement, and motivation, making learning both enjoyable and impactful.
