My name is Revathi Jeyaraman, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s in Education (TESL) at Unitar, where I have been on the Dean’s List for three semesters. I am passionate about teaching and have over two years of experience in education, including one year as a preschool teacher and more than a year teaching Maths and English at Kumon.
I have worked with students ranging from preschoolers to primary and secondary levels, developing strong skills in early childhood education, individualized instruction, and student engagement. As a class teacher and I gained experience in lesson planning, differentiated instruction, and student well-being support.
I am based in Taiping, Perak, and I am applying for this job because I want to expand my experience in a structured classroom setting, particularly in early childhood or primary education. My goal is to create an engaging, inclusive learning environment that nurtures children's cognitive and social development. This role will also allow me to apply my knowledge of multiple intelligences, classroom management, and effective teaching methodologies while continuing my degree.
Beyond my teaching career, I am a foodie who loves cooking and trying new dishes, and I believe that creativity and adaptability both in and out of the classroom are key the qualities of an effective educator.

Teaching Method(s)
One method is live online classes . Teachers and students meet on Zoom or Google Meet to learn together. It's easy for sharing videos, pictures, quizzes, and digital whiteboards to make lessons interesting. Students can also join small group discussions to share ideas.
Another method is self-paced learning . Here, students can catch recorded lessons, read notes, and do exercises anytime. This is helpful for students who need extra time to learn. A mix of both, called blended learning, helps students learn even better. They watch videos or read before class, then join live sessions to ask questions and practice. To make learning fun, teachers use games, puzzles, and storytelling. Websites like Quizizz help students learn through play. With these methods, online learning becomes easy, fun, and effective for all students.
