My name is Ms. Kousalya. I hold a Master’s Degree in Counselling (Clinical Mental Health) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, and I have experience providing both academic guidance and emotional support to students. In addition, I also conduct home tuition for primary school students.I mainly teach core subjects such as Bahasa Melayu, English, Science, and Mathematics. I can also assist with additional subjects like Moral and Sejarah as well as provide students with various study skills. My key strengths include patience, effective communication, motivation-building, and helping students in understanding each subject better in their own way. One of my greatest achievements has been helping students improve both their academic performance and self-confidence through a supportive and positive approach.
Teaching Method(s)
I apply interactive learning techniques such as quizzes, games, Q&A practice, and creative activities to make lessons more engaging and enjoyable.My approach focuses on ensuring that students understand the basic concepts first before moving on to more advanced levels. I also use real-life examples so that lessons are easier to understand and remember.
To help students score well in exams, I teach effective answering strategies, time management during tests, and simple yet powerful note-taking techniques.
