My name is Izlin, feel free to call me Miss Lin. I had teaching experience teaching in a private highschool in Cambodia during the 3 months teaching practicum that I did during my undergrad. I also am a volunteer at an orphanage in Korea to teach English to primary school student.
Teaching Method(s)
I prefer to act as a facilitator, a bridge between subject knowledge and the students. I prefer to let the students lead the learning process, so I can identify which area are they lacking on and providing lessons to brush up on the parts they lack on. Once I identify which part that needs improvement, I will either use activities or practices to help students develop the skills they need. I believe this method doesn't only allow students to score well during exams, it prepares them for language use in the real world settings as well.
