I’m Ts. Siti Syahirah, a passionate educator and software engineer with hands-on industry experience and a strong academic foundation. I hold a Master’s in Computer Science (Web Technology) and am currently pursuing a PhD in Software Engineering, focusing on ontology and machine learning. Over the past five years, I’ve worked in software development and systems analysis roles across fintech and enterprise solutions, which has given me real-world insights I enjoy sharing with students. My goal is to make complex technical concepts accessible and engaging. I’m particularly interested in nurturing analytical thinking, encouraging curiosity, and supporting the next generation of tech professionals through impactful, practical teaching.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching approach blends practical industry experience with academic structure. I believe in active, student-centered learning where students not only understand theory but also apply it to real-world scenarios. I use a mix of visual aids, live coding, group discussions, and project-based learning to keep lessons engaging and relevant. I encourage curiosity and critical thinking, guiding students to explore beyond textbooks—whether it’s through case studies, mini capstone projects, or peer reviews.
