Hello! My name is Priya, and I am an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching English. I have a Bachelor's degree in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language), and my career has taken me through diverse teaching experiences. I spent a year teaching secondary students in an international school before transitioning to a permanent position in a national school.
Currently, I’m in my third year as a primary school teacher in a national school, where I focus on making English accessible and engaging for young learners. With my international experience and solid foundation in TESL, I am dedicated to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment where students can thrive and enjoy the process of learning English. I look forward to working with your child to enhance their English proficiency in both fun and effective ways!

In my classes, I create a positive and structured learning environment where students feel safe, supported, and motivated to participate. I begin each lesson with a clear learning objective and use engaging warm-up activities to activate prior knowledge. I conduct lessons using a student-centred and communicative approach, which means students are actively involved in speaking, listening, reading, and writing through interactive tasks. Apart from that, I also believe in using interactive methods, such as games, storytelling, and group activities, to help students develop their language skills with confidence. Last but not least, I believe that learning should be interactive, enjoyable, and motivating, so I always provide constructive feedback and encouragement to help students grow and succeed.
