I am a trainee teacher currently in my "persediaan" year, third semester. I have been helping my family members as well as my friends in their academics, from writing, speaking and reading poorly to efficiently. I decided to join MyTutor as a tutor, to make it as a practice for my future teaching career. I study at Institute Pendidikan Guru Malaysia, which is known for it's structured training for teachers. Teaching is not only a passion or just a mere career, but a medium to create a better future.
Teaching Method(s)
I will give reading materials to my students and try to make them read aloud. Reading aloud boosts one's confidence and pronunciations. I will help my students complete and explain their homework, which most school teachers ignore is students understanding. If parents allow it, I will give homework to my students. Writing is one of my strengths, I will give writing exercises to my student. I too struggle with speaking, but in IPG, we learnt Public Speaking, and I hope I can use that experience to teach children.
