About Me
Hye my name is Qistina and I'm preferred to be called miss qistina. I've finished my diploma in Teaching English as A Second Language (TESL) with 3.9 cgpa. I'm a lovely and easygoing person. I am someone who carries both warmth and dedication in everything I do. With a strong academic achievement like a 3.9 CGPA in TESL, it clearly shows my commitment, discipline, and passion for education. I have a natural ability to connect with others, making people feel comfortable and understood around me. My easygoing personality allows me to adapt well in different situations, especially when working with students from diverse backgrounds. I am also creative in expressing ideas and enjoy making learning fun and meaningful. With my positive attitude and strong foundation, I have great potential to become an inspiring and impactful educator in the future.
Teaching Method(s)
I’d love to have 1-to-1 sessions because they help students stay more focused and allow me to fully understand their individual learning needs. In these sessions, I can tailor my teaching techniques to suit each student’s pace, strengths, and areas that need improvement. I believe in using a student-centred approach, where the lesson is interactive and encourages active participation rather than passive listening.

I also like to incorporate questioning techniques to check understanding and stimulate critical thinking. By asking open-ended questions, I can guide students to think deeper and express their ideas more confidently. In addition, I use scaffolding methods, where I provide support at the beginning and gradually reduce it as the student becomes more independent.

Another technique I value is the use of real-life contexts to make learning more meaningful and relatable. This helps students see the practical use of what they are learning. I also include regular feedback during and after the lesson so students are aware of their progress and areas to improve. Positive reinforcement is important to keep them motivated and build their confidence.

Overall, my teaching approach focuses on creating a comfortable, engaging, and supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged to learn and grow.
