About Me
Miss Sammy. I am a passionate and dedicated graduate in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) from Institut Pendidikan Guru Kampus Bahasa Antarabangsa. With strong pedagogical knowledge, digital literacy, and a love for working with young learners, I bring both heart and strategy into every teaching session.

I have experience teaching English to primary school pupils during my practicum in Kuala Lumpur and facilitating rural literacy programs through KPM's RIMBUN initiative. My lessons are student-centered, interactive, and adapted to learners' needs using tools like Wordwall, Canva, Kahoot, and Google Meet to enhance engagement in both online and offline settings.

With a CEFR C1 proficiency (APTIS, 2024), I aim to create a warm, supportive environment that encourages confidence, communication, and curiosity in every learner I teach.

Now, seeking part-time or freelance tutoring opportunities, particularly in English language instruction, virtual learning support, or curriculum enrichment for primary learners while waiting for my posting offer.
Teaching Method(s)
As a TESL graduate, my teaching approach is based on helping students use English confidently and meaningfully. I use the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method to encourage interaction and real communication, because I believe students learn best when they are actively involved in using the language, not just memorising it.

I also apply Task-Based Learning (TBL), where students complete simple and meaningful tasks, like creating posters, solving problems, or practicing conversations. This helps them use English in real-life situations and enjoy the learning process.

In my online classes, I use digital tools like Google Meet, Wordwall, Canva, and Kahoot to make lessons more engaging and interactive. These tools help students stay focused, participate actively, and receive instant feedback.

I always try to adapt my teaching to different student levels, especially when working with mixed-ability groups. I believe in being patient, supportive, and making sure each student feels heard and guided in their learning journey.

My goal is to create a safe and positive space where students enjoy learning English, gain confidence, and improve step by step, no pressure, just progress.
