Hi! My name is Nor Sahkila and students usually call me Kila. I have less than 1 year of experience in tutoring, as after SPM, I open private tutor (as what my teachers recommended me) for both primary and secondary students (mostly SPM students), also some kindergarten child. I enjoy helping them grow in their confidence and academic skills.
My main subjects are Mathematics, AddMaths, Bahasa Melayu, and English. I also occasionally assist with subjects like Chemistry and Physics depending on the student's needs. One of my strengths is my ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, easy-to-understand way. I’m fluent in both Bahasa Melayu and English, which helps me guide students who need help with bilingual understanding.
One of my proudest achievements was helping a struggling student improve from a C to an A in Math within just three months. I also once help my friends who never passed Mathematics to getting an A for SPM! Seeing that transformation really motivated me to continue teaching with passion and patience.

Teaching Method(s)
In my lessons, I like to use interactive and engaging methods such as games, visual aids, and real-life examples to keep the learning process interesting. I focus on understanding each student’s learning style some need more visuals, others prefer step-by-step practice.
To ensure my students truly understand the subject, I always begin with the basics, build a strong foundation, and use plenty of practice questions to reinforce the lessons. I also prepare quick revision notes and quizzes to help them remember important points.
Lastly, I guide my students with effective exam techniques such as time management, answering formats, and spotting keywords in questions so they can score well with confidence.
