Hi! I am is Damia Awatif, but I prefer to be called Teacher Mia. I’m currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Mathematics (Part 5). While I may not have professional teaching experience yet, I’ve enjoyed helping my cousins and friends understand their lessons, especially in math. I’m passionate about sharing knowledge and excited to start building my experience as a tutor. I look forward to supporting and guiding students in their learning journey!
Teaching Method(s)
In my mathematics classes, I focus on step-by-step explanations to help students understand each part of the problem clearly. I use simple language and real-life examples to make learning more relatable and fun. I also encourage active practice during lessons, guiding students through questions and giving positive feedback to build their confidence. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving at their own pace.
