Hi! My name is Nadia, and I’m a passionate English educator with experience teaching both primary and secondary school students. I have taught learners from Form 1 to Form 4, and currently, I also work as a freelance tutor for young children, focusing on foundational English skills.
My main subjects are English language and literacy, and I also support students in developing communication, reading, and writing skills tailored to their level. Some of my key strengths include lesson planning, differentiated instruction, student engagement, and classroom management. To keep lessons engaging, I incorporate games, visuals, storytelling, real-life contexts, and student-centered activities. My lessons are often interactive and built around what excites and motivates the students.
To ensure my students understand the material, I use a mix of guided practice, scaffolding, formative assessments, and check-in questions to monitor progress. I always encourage students to ask questions and express their ideas freely.
When helping students prepare for exams, I focus on exam strategies, targeted practice, past paper drills, and vocabulary building, ensuring they are confident and well-prepared to score well.
