Hi, my name is Raisyah Sufia but you can call me Teacher Sufia. I’m a fresh graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry Education and a minor in Mathematics. I have around one year teaching experience including my practicum at SMK Putrajaya Presint 9(1). I'm able to teach both primary and secondary school students. My main subjects are Chemistry and Mathematics. I can also teach additional subjects such as Science and Bahasa Arab. One of my special skills is using digital tools to improve the quality of my teaching. I enjoy creating interactive and engaging lessons especially through game based learning and online platforms. My greatest achievement as a teacher is seeing my students understand what i teach and succeed in their exam with good results.
Teaching Method(s)
As a teacher, i use different teaching method such as Game Based Learnig, Inquiry Based Learning, Teacher Centred Method and Grouping Method. These methods help me to match my teaching with students's needs, learning styles, past exam results, time, place and student's mastery level.
Game Based Learning is very effective to increase student motivation and make learning fun. I also use Inquiry Based Learning when i want to encourage critical thinking and student exploration. Besides that, Teacher Centred Method is used when i need to give clear explanation especially for new or difficult topics.
For me, the best technique depends on the condition, but i always aim to make sure the students understand the lesson.
