About Me
My name is Cikgu Alief, and I am a dedicated educator with a strong foundation in teaching Mathematics and Science. I have gained valuable teaching experience during my practicum at SK Pengkalan and SK Raja Perempuan, Ipoh, where I served as a Trainee Teacher. These placements allowed me to apply pedagogical theories in real classroom settings and develop effective strategies to engage young learners.

I successfully obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Education from the Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG) Kampus Ipoh, which further strengthened my knowledge and teaching capabilities. In addition to my formal training, I have worked as a Mathematics Tutor at a Mathematics Therapy Centre (HOME), where I provided targeted support to students with diverse learning needs. I also have two years of experience as a private tutor, focusing primarily on Mathematics and Science.

With a passion for education and a student-centered approach, I strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment. I am particularly known for using innovative techniques such as conceptual understanding of multiplication beyond rote memorization, and incorporating therapeutic mind games to boost focus and motivation. My goal is to make learning meaningful, enjoyable, and accessible for every student under my guidance.
Teaching Method(s)
In the field of education, a variety of teaching methodologies are commonly employed, including teacher-centered instruction, student-centered learning, and approaches based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT). Drawing from my experience in teaching Mathematics at both the primary and lower secondary levels, I have developed and implemented innovative and student-friendly techniques that enhance understanding and engagement.

One of my key approaches involves helping students grasp multiplication concepts without relying solely on rote memorization. I also integrate therapeutic mind games into my Mathematics lessons to maintain student interest, reduce learning fatigue, and improve concentration. These methods have proven effective in creating a more dynamic and enjoyable learning environment, while also fostering deeper comprehension among students.

Through these strategies, I continuously strive to make Mathematics more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for every learner.
