Hi, I’m Nila, a 2nd year Bachelors of Applied Science in Industrial Chemistry at UTHM

I began tutoring by helping friends during group study sessions and guiding my siblings and cousins. The feedback I kept hearing was i can make complex concepts SIMPLE & RELATABLE
That’s when I realised teaching isn’t just something I can do, it’s something I love doing no matter how busy i am.

In my lessons, I focus on:
-Simplifying complex topics with clear explanations and relatable examples.
-Student-focused learning, adapting my teaching style to each student’s pace and needs
-Building understanding and confidence so students not only pass exams but truly master the subject

One of my greatest strengths is being able to see things from a student’s perspective. I know what it feels like to struggle because I was once in that position too. This allows me to identify learning gaps quickly and guide students to real clarity and confidence.

Some of my proudest academic achievements include scoring 9As in SPM and receiving the Chancellor’s Award during my diploma. More than awards, though, my biggest satisfaction comes from seeing my students improve, gain confidence, and even start enjoying subjects they once feared.

- i encourage identification of keywords along with making sure student understand the process/foundation by explaining with real world examples
- minimal memorizing, students will automatically memorize when they understand
