I am an enthusiastic and adaptable educator with one year of teaching experience as a Practical Teacher and Mathematics Tutor at both primary and secondary school levels. I hold both a Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology (Medical Electronics) which have provided me with a strong foundation in technical knowledge, problem-solving, and project development, while also equipping me with transferable skills that I apply in my teaching profession. My main expertise lies in teaching Mathematics, while I am also capable of teaching additional subjects such as Science, B.Melayu, and others. Among my notable achievements are successfully applying interactive teaching strategies that enhanced student participation and contributing to the development of a Low-Cost Spirometer for Pulmonary Function, which was presented at a national-level competition
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching methods are focused on creating an engaging and student-centered learning environment. I incorporate game-based learning platforms such as Quizizz and Kahoot, as well as multimedia resources, to make lessons interactive and enjoyable. To ensure students’ understanding, I apply a step-by-step teaching approach, link concepts to real-life applications, and encourage active class discussions. For exam preparation, I emphasize targeted practice using past examination papers, provide concise notes and formula sheets, and guide students with effective answering techniques and time management strategies.
