Hello! My name is Hirthikka, and I am commonly known as Tika. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor’s degree in Education, where I am developing both my theoretical knowledge and practical skills to become an effective and inspiring educator. My passion for teaching has grown through my academic journey as well as my hands-on experience working with primary school students. Throughout my experience, I have had the opportunity to engage with young learners from diverse backgrounds, which has helped me understand the importance of creating an inclusive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment. I enjoy designing interactive and meaningful learning activities that encourage students to think critically, participate actively, and build confidence in their abilities. Working with children has also strengthened my patience, communication skills, and adaptability, as every student learns in their own unique way. I strongly believe that education is not only about academic achievement but also about nurturing students’ character, creativity, and curiosity. As a future educator, I aim to create a positive learning atmosphere where students feel safe, motivated, and excited to learn. I am particularly interested in incorporating fun and collaborative approaches, such as group activities and educational games, to make lessons more engaging and effective. In addition, I am continuously seeking opportunities to improve myself professionally by learning new teaching strategies and staying updated with current educational practices. I am committed to becoming a dedicated and compassionate teacher who can make a meaningful impact on students’ learning experiences and personal growth.
Teaching Method(s)
I believe learning should happen in an engaging and supportive environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and explore ideas. My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and interactive. I make sure each student learns at their own pace and feels confident along the way. My goal is to inspire students to enjoy learning, build their confidence, and reach their full potential. I’d be happy to guide and support you on your learning journey. I will do my best to help the students.
