My name is Nur A'liah Aimi, but you can call me Teacher Mey. I have 3 years of experience teaching Special Needs Children (ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, and GDD) for school readiness. Currently, I am a tutor for special needs children (ASD and Dyslexia) and am also interested in expanding my teaching to Kindergarten students in 3M (Malay and English), as well as primary students (Standard 1 to Standard 3 in Science). Since my background is in preparing children for school, my focus is on 3M, supporting all students, especially to develop their reading and writing skills. My greatest achievement is seeing both my students and their parents happy with the progress their children make.

I begin by listening to parents’ concerns and understanding their goals for their child. From there, I tailor a learning plan using a combination of table-based work and interactive, hands-on activities by incorporating evidence-based practices such as Jolly Phonics, Bacalah Anakku, and pre-writing skill development. I emphasise building task independence to help children gain confidence and learn effectively at their own pace. All teaching methods and learning materials will be discussed with parents beforehand, and I will provide regular progress updates to ensure that families feel informed and supported throughout the learning journey.
