My name is Emir, but you can simply call me Teacher Emir. I truly appreciate you taking the time to visit my profile, and I’m excited to share a little about myself with you. I am currently in my third year of pursuing a Bachelor of Education (Teaching English as a Second Language) with Honours at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), and I am looking forward to transitioning into my final year this October. I will be graduating next year in 2027. Prior to this, I acquired a Diploma in English from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI), where my love for teaching English language blossomed.

English has been my favorite subject since primary school, and my passion for teaching truly developed during my diploma years. I am eager to share the knowledge I have gained and to continue developing my skills as a tutor. My educational journey has equipped me with a solid understanding of the English language, as well as insights into effective teaching methodologies, curriculum design, and pedagogy. I believe that being a tutor will not only enhance my teaching abilities but also provide me with invaluable experiences working closely with students.

I consider myself an easy-going and cheerful person, qualities that I believe are essential for a teacher. I want my students to feel comfortable and confident around me, knowing that they have someone approachable to turn to. Creating a safe and supportive learning environment is vital in fostering motivation and engagement, and I am dedicated to understanding and empathizing with my students.

While I may not have formal teaching experience just yet, I have been actively involved in various educational programs and internships, including a role at the District Education Office and a short practicum (Rancangan Orientasi Sekolah) at a national secondary school. Through my internship and short practicum, I have observed many things such as various teaching methods, classroom management, school environment, school administration, etc. which has deepened my understanding of the multifaceted nature of a teacher's role. These experiences have opened my eyes to the diverse possibilities within the teaching profession. Additionally, my volunteer work with children and teenagers at orphanages, schools, and organizations like Adab Youth Garage (AYG) has strengthened my commitment to education and community service.

My goal as a tutor is to provide your children with the best English education, aligned with the syllabus and curriculum, while fostering a love of learning. I want to make lessons enjoyable and beneficial, helping each student achieve their academic goals in English. I also welcome open communication especially when the students wish to share any personal challenges. I promise to listen without judgment and offer support, as building trust is crucial in our educational relationship. Furthermore, I value honest feedback from parents and will actively seek ways to improve my teaching through self-reflection. Aside from English, I am also equipped to teach subjects like Bahasa Melayu and Sejarah, expanding the support I can offer your children.

Employ various learning styles, encouraging students to draw, watch videos and images, debate, dance, sing, read aloud, and write.

6. Integration of Arts and Literature🪶:
Introduce literary components to lessons to add value, making them more meaningful and fostering an appreciation for literature.
