My nickname is Teacher Vicki. I have been teaching since 2022, beginning with university student taking engineering subjects. With a strong passion for mathematics, I focus not just on helping students arrive at the correct answers, but on ensuring they truly understand the reasoning and calculations behind each problem. One of my greatest achievements has been guiding my students to excel in their exams while developing a deeper appreciation and confidence in the subject. I take pride in creating a learning environment where understanding comes before memorization, fostering both skill and curiosity in every student.
Teaching Method(s)
I start by teaching the very basic calculations to ensure students understand the foundation, which later allows them to solve more complex questions confidently. I use my own examples and questions tailored to their level, explaining concepts in ways that are easy to remember. I also incorporate visual aids like diagrams and step-by-step charts, relate problems to real-life scenarios, and encourage students to explain their thinking aloud to reinforce understanding. Interactive activities such as mini-quizzes, group problem-solving, and practical applications help keep the learning engaging and ensure that students not only memorize, but truly grasp the concepts.
