My name is Hakimi Bin Saip. Usually people will call me Kimi. I completed my SPM at MRSM Mersing, where my interest in Mathematics first developed and grew stronger over the years. During my school years, I was awarded a Bronze Medal in the SASMO Mathematics Olympiad and represented MRSM in the MRSM Mathematics Carnival. Mathematics has always been a subject I genuinely enjoy and feel strongly connected to.
That is why I pursued my studies in Actuarial Science, beginning with a diploma. I graduated with First Class Honours and received the Vice-Chancellor’s Award, before continuing with a degree in Actuarial Science to further strengthen my analytical and mathematical skills.
While completing my degree, I worked part-time as a Mathematics and Additional Mathematics tutor, serving as a replacement teacher for those on leave. This experience helped me develop clear teaching methods and effective communication with students of different learning levels.
I am a friendly, easy-going, and approachable person, which allows students to feel comfortable asking questions and engaging in lessons. I enjoy helping students build confidence in Mathematics and improve their understanding through structured yet supportive guidance.

Teaching Method(s)
I will use an iPad as my main teaching tool to deliver clear, structured, and interactive lessons. I will focus strongly on explaining the theory first, as I believe a solid understanding of concepts is essential before attempting questions.
After covering the theory, I will guide students through questions that commonly appear in exam papers. I will avoid giving repetitive exercises that follow the same steps, and instead expose students to real exam style questions.
I will teach step by step, starting from the theoretical explanation and then working through past year exam papers together with the student. I will explain the reasoning behind each step clearly, so students understand not only how to solve a question, but also the logic behind it.
I will help students experience the confidence and satisfaction of getting the same answers as the official answer scheme. To support their learning, I will also provide study materials for revision and additional practice.
