Hi, I'm Aissyah — a full-time software engineer with a genuine love for teaching and helping others understand subjects that once challenged me too.
My tutoring journey started back in secondary school, where I would regularly help my friends work through tough Math and Chemistry problems. It was something I did naturally, and it showed me how rewarding it is to see someone finally "get it." While I may not have years of formal teaching experience, I bring patience, clarity, and a real enthusiasm for learning to every session.
I teach Mathematics for both primary and secondary levels, Chemistry for secondary students. I also teach Programming for anyone who interested. My engineering background gives me a unique edge — I don't just teach formulas and theories, I help students understand the why behind concepts and how they connect to the real world.
I graduated and have been working as a software engineer for 3 years, which means the knowledge I share is current, practical, and grounded in real experience. I'm also bilingual, so I can explain concepts in both English and Bahasa Malaysia depending on what works best for you.

I'm still developing my teaching style, but I try my best to make each session as clear and engaging as possible.

I like to use visual aids such as diagrams and slides to help break down concepts that can be tricky to grasp, and I'll sometimes throw in mini quizzes or small challenges during the session to keep things interactive and check how well things are sinking in.

To make sure a student truly understands, I'll usually ask them to try solving a problem on their own after we go through it together, or explain the concept back to me in their own words. I find this helps identify any gaps before moving on. I also try to be mindful of each student's pace and adjust accordingly — there's no rush, and it's more important that the understanding is solid than that we cover everything quickly.

For exam preparation, I focus on going through past year papers to help students get comfortable with the format and question styles. I also try to share useful answering techniques — things like how to structure responses and mistakes that are easy to avoid with a bit of awareness.
