About Me
1. A full time educator under the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia.
2. An experienced educator who taught school level, diploma and degree.
3. I was a lecturer at Manipal International University.
4. I am a lecturer at Politeknik Jeli who taught Biolocal Science, Agricultural Chemistry and other subjects under the department of Agrotechnology & Bio-industry.
5. I have a teaching permit (Biology & Biochemistry).
6. I do a part time job as an educator and I am able to teach multi disciplinary subjects: Science, Maths, History and other science related subjects.
Teaching Method(s)
1) Personalized Learning - Tailored instruction such as assessing the student’s strengths, weaknesses, learning style, and goals as well as design lessons that are customized for them, focusing on areas where they need the most help. For a group study, my teaching strategies based on how the student learns best (visual, auditory, kinesthetic, etc.). For instance, diagrams are used for visual learners or real-life examples for kinesthetic learners.
2) Active Learning - Socratic Method by asking open-ended questions to stimulate critical thinking and reflection, guiding the student to discover answers on their own.For a group study, interactive Lessons will be applied to encourage the student to engage actively with the material through discussions, problem-solving, or teaching back concepts. This deepens understanding.
3) Formative Feedback - Informal assessments will be conducted through quizzes, questioning, or practice exercises to gauge the student’s progress. Constructive feedback will be provided timely and specific feedback that highlights strengths and areas for improvement, helping the student to refine their understanding.
4) Students are also equipped with effective study habits, time management, and techniques like summarization, mnemonics, or mind mapping.
5) Use of Technology - Digital Tools will be used such as online resources, and interactive software to make lessons more dynamic and cater to different learning styles.
6) Multimedia Content: Use videos, online simulations, or digital whiteboards to explain complex concepts in an engaging way.
