Can call me Nina. I have been doing part-time tutoring for 4 years when I was in my bachelor's degree. I stopped tutoring because I continued my master's abroad. Now, I have been working for almost 2 years now as an engineer in KL. Reason why I want to continue tutoring is because I realized how much I missed teaching and interacting with students. I am comfortable with Mathematics and am confident with teaching others as well. I am varying with other subjects as well but for now, only focusing on primary schools' subjects.
Teaching Method(s)
I am okay with physical and online teaching. I don't mind parents providing with the exercise book or I have to provide myself, just need to inform me beforehand so I can better prepare for the class. Before teaching, I will ask the student first what have they learned at school and whether they have any specific topic that they want me to focus on more. I am also okay helping out with their school homework (with the consent of their parents). I would insert a 5-10 mins break whenever necessary during lessons. I would recap back what we have learned during the lesson before ending the class and give them exercise for them to practice on and discuss on next class.
