Greetings, my name is Afiqah Adlina or known as Teacher Afiqah. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering and currently a PhD candidate in Tribology studies at UiTM Shah Alam. In addition to my academic background, I have gained valuable practical experience through research assistance and teaching assistance during my studies. Education and teaching has always been my passions, i am a motivated tutor with over 4 years of teaching multiple subjects at lower and higher grade levels. My major or strongest subject is mathematic and additional mathematic.Teaching Method(s)
I am a fun and organize educator. I would love it if my student consider me as a "study-buddy" for more friendlier student-teacher relationship. My teaching technique is flexible and is depending on the student learning methods, i will approach and match to their learning preferences. My teaching techniques include mind mapping for fun and visual learning, brainstorming for two ways communication learning and lastly acronym for call to mind/memory learning. I believe in 3 main components in effective learning which is visual, verbal and auditory. In addition to the teaching and learning techniques, in order for the students to success is with a lot of practice. Well, practice is indeed makes perfect. Giving homework is one of the way to make the student practice and can implement discipline in student. Last but not least, i will track/observes my student's performance with quiz/mini test at the end of each chapters of the subject. The platform that i use for quiz/mini test is Quizizz for more fun approach.Subject
