I graduated with Master of Philosophy - Multimedia University and Bachelor of Finance (First Class Honours) - Multimedia University and obtained 9A+ 1A for Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) - SMK Tarcisian Convent Ipoh.I have experience with teaching through physical and online classes.
Currently handling 10 classes teaching students from age 5-17 years old reading, writing, listening and speaking Bahasa Melayu and Bahasa Inggeris.
I have good communication skills by conveying key objectives and clear points/info to students and able to teach many sub topics in 1 hour class. I have experience, patience and passion in teaching students and able to assist students who are slow learners.
I have a Teaching Permit granted by Ministry of Higher Education and currently working as a Finance Lecturer and Private Tutor for Statistical Analysis.
Teaching Method(s)
I believe the learning journey must be enjoyable and fun. My students are free to voice out their opinions of the topics they wanted to learn during the class.The techniques I apply during class differ based on the students’ needs.
Here are some activities/techniques I used during my classes:
• Online interactive game whereby the students can play while answering the questions. I assist students answering the questions by explaining and giving hints for the answers.
• Reading story books (English - via platform Read Along and Book Peter & Jane while BM – using Buku Bacalah Sayang). I assist students by correcting their pronunciation and asking questions to test their understanding regarding the content of the book.
• The topics taught will be aligned with the syllabus (exercises - writing, listening, reading, speaking) following the recommended/ provided worksheet book.
• The emphasize on understanding the grammar and sentence structure will be taught from interactive exercise and reading comprehension.
