About Me
Currently, I am pursuing my master’s degree in Technology Management at Universiti Utara Malaysia. My academic background has provided me with a strong foundation in the subject matter and has taught me effective study strategies. The latest working experience I have was as Graduate Research Assistant, where I developed strong skills in research, analysis, problem-solving and communication. I believe that these skills would be highly transferable to a tutoring role, where I could help students better understand difficult concepts and work through challenging problems. While I do not have any prior formal experience as a tutor, I am highly motivated in helping others learn and I believe that I can make a positive impact on the students I work with. Additionally, I have always enjoyed working with children and young adults. During my volunteer work, I had the opportunity to share my knowledge. This experience sparked my interest in tutoring, and I knew that it was something that I wanted to pursue further. Last year, I have been given a chance to tutor undergraduate students working on their final-year projects, and this experience taught me how to develop collaborative learning methodologies that facilitate tutoring sessions effectively. I am confident that my love for education and some of my experience will be able to help others. I am excited about the opportunity to become a tutor and make a positive impact on the lives of students.
Teaching Method(s)
As a tutor, I will strive to create a comfortable and positive learning environment for my students. I am a strong collaborator who values open communication, and I believe in developing a strong rapport with students, understanding their individual learning styles, and using creative methods able to help them master the subject matter effectively. I also believe that education is not a one-size-fits-all approach, and it is essential to tailor each tutoring session to the student's individual learning style. I am also committed to setting goals and tracking progress so that students can see the tangible improvements they are making. As a tutor, I am committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment for my students. I believe that every student has the potential to succeed and am dedicated to helping them reach their full potential. I am highly organized, patient, and adaptable, and I am dedicated to tailoring my teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student.
