About Me

I am Cikgu Anna. I am a tutor who has a deep passion for education and a genuine desire to help students succeed. I believe that education is the key to unlocking one's potential and creating a brighter future. Living in the United States for 4 years has broadened my view on education and passion. This passion drives me to go the extra mile in ensuring that my students receive the best possible support and guidance. I have been a tutor for more than 7 years (since 2018), especially SPM, PT3 (previously known as PMR), and UPSR candidates. I also have experience teaching and handling toddlers and preschoolers as I worked at a few Montessori preschools. Subjects that I have been teaching are Prinsip Perakaunan, Maths, Science, Chemistry, Physics, and Add Maths. As I possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, I can convey complex concepts clearly and concisely, making them accessible and easy to understand for my students. I listen attentively to their questions and concerns, ensuring that I address them effectively and provide appropriate guidance. I foster an open and supportive environment that encourages students to actively engage in their learning process. Alhamdulillah, so far, my students can grasp and score excellently. Teaching Method(s)

In my years of tutoring PMR and SPM kids, I often encourage students to actively engage in the learning process through discussions, asking questions, and seeking clarification. In my opinion and years of experience as a tutor, this approach helps students retain information better and promotes critical thinking skills. I also utilize visual aids, such as diagrams, charts, and infographics, to enhance understanding and retention of information. Incorporate multimedia resources, such as educational videos or interactive online tools, to make the learning experience more engaging and interactive. As a tutor, I also provide ample opportunities for students to practice and apply what they have learned. I will assign exercises, problem-solving tasks, or real-life applications of concepts to reinforce understanding of what the students have learned. Last but not least, as a tutor I always emphasize the learning process. I will remind students that learning is a process that takes time and effort. I'll encourage a growth mindset, where mistakes and challenges are seen as opportunities for growth and improvement. This will eventually foster a positive learning environment that celebrates effort and progress.
