Born in a family who runs a clothes-selling small business for a living, I have been nurtured with a virtue that education is essential especially in transforming one’s life. Nurnajlaa binti Omargul or more familiarly known as Teacher Najlaa, this is a story about me. I was once known as a very weak student who could only read after June 1998. Frequently scolded and punished by teachers then, Allah the Almighty God was my only hope. I initiated my steps to excel since Year 3 in primary school. Years passing, the efforts poured were proven with 4As in UPSR, 9As in PMR, and 9As in the SPM examination despite many challenges. This, in turn, allowed me to become the recipient of Anugerah Pelajar Cemerlang Keseluruhan PMR 2006 SMK Seri Pagi and Anugerah Permata Delima 9A SPM 2008 SMKA SHAMS awards. I furthered my journey to a matriculation college under the Biological Science stream and then, to University of Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA) for the Bachelor degree level under the field of Agricultural Biotechnology. After 4 years, I graduated with First Class Honours of CGPA: 3.71/4 and was rewarded with the Exemption of PTPTN Finance Education Repayment. I worked on a chemometric project in order to publish my undergraduate thesis. Instead of that, I was also awarded with Anugerah Siswazah Cemerlang Kelas Pertama under Yayasan Negeri Sembilan organization. I began my education career in 2016 and have possessed 8 years of both teaching and tutoring experiences so far for both KPM and IGCSE syllabi. Taking a great pride in English Language, Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Science, and Biology particularly, my main objective of teaching and tutoring is to transform my students, especially the weak ones, into the excellent ones as I do not want my students to experience the bad memories as what I had gone through during my childhood. I want my students to learn effectively in such a happy yet inspiring vicinity without any stress and I can guarantee this to the parents. Surely, I will not disappoint the parents of my students and even, will make them proud of their children’s achievements. As I believe that “To teach is to transform… Not to tarnish”.Teaching Method(s)
I am a tutor who really emphasizes student's progress and achievement from time to time. I have my certain created innovations which I use to explain to my students in order to allow them to understand the topic. Besides that, I have designed my own note systems and modules, which mainly are the basis on colour codes and symbolization for the usage of my students. All praises be to Allah, recently, for Additional Mathematics, students who failed their SPM 2022 trial examinations before, successfully changed their results from a failed grade to B and C respectively during the actual SPM 2022 examination. Besides, for English Language, during UPSR 2019, the candidates who could not write even a sentence, could finally write an essay and passed their English UPSR 2019 then by using my writing template techniques.
