About Me
For introduction, I graduated from Kuliyyah of Architecture and Environmental Design (KAED), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Gombak with a Degree in Landscape Architecture on October 2008. I’ve been a freelance designer since then until 2009.
In 2009, I furthered my study in Master of Science in Built Environment, also from the same university and graduated in 2014. I continued my work as a freelance designer and also as a coach for the amateur basketball clubs in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
In 2022, I have been awarded Doctor of Philosophy in Built Environment (research mode) after I passed the Viva- voce presentation for my PhD study and submitted my final thesis to the faculty. I am now working as a freelance designer, basketball coach and administrator at one of the IIUM’s colleges.
While doing my PhD, I also worked as a post graduate research assistant in 2014 until 2019, under the FRGS scheme by Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi entitled Urban Marketplace Qualities for Cultural and Economic Regeneration, supervised by Emeritus Prof. Ismawi Hj. Zen and Assc. Prof. Dr. Khalilah Zakariya (IIUM), which require me to do the presentation and research related work teaching, as well as to manage the coursework subjects related to the grant itself. Under the FRGS scheme, I have published four papers and conference presentations in 2014 and 2019 time duration.
I am very interested in education and research field and willing to learn and share my knowledge with the Malaysia youth generation here.
Teaching Method(s)
The simplest teaching technic is the best technic.
I prefer to simplify a complex notes to simple one so it will make the understanding and teaching easier to deliver.
Teaching method such as co-web, categorization, classification and levelling are the methods I prefer to use in tutoring.
