About Me
I hold a First Class Honours Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the University of Nottingham and a Master's degree in Architecture from the Manchester School of Art. I achieved 10As in my national high school examinations and 4As in A-Levels, which encompass Math, Chemistry, Physics, and Further Math. These excellent results led to me being awarded a bursary and JPA scholarship from the Public Services Department of Malaysia for my A-Levels, Degree, and Masters studies. I recently concluded my architectural internship after a year-long period. I've been engaged in tutoring for nearly 2 years, where I've been teaching Math, Science, and English to primary and IGCSE students.
At the moment, I am capable of offering tutoring services in all level Math, Science, Chinese, English and Malay
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching technique revolves around personalized online 1-1 sessions using platforms like Zoom. I prioritize a thorough understanding of concepts by explaining them in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that the student grasps the material. I encourage active participation by having the student explain the concepts back to me, fostering deeper comprehension. Through interactive discussions, I introduce the concept of active learning, making the learning process engaging and dynamic.
To enhance understanding and retention, I incorporate reading assignments that complement the subject matter. I believe in the importance of practice, so I provide exercises and encourage the use of past year papers to apply the knowledge gained. By combining explanation, active engagement, and practical application, I aim to create a comprehensive and effective learning experience that empowers the student to excel in their studies.
