I am Teacher Santhia. I am a Master holder who graduated from UNITAR International University with first-class honors. I did Master of Education majoring in Educational Leadership and Management. I also completed my Bachelor of Education majoring in Mathematics in 2019. Thus, the major subject I teach is Mathematics. I can also teach English and Malay. I have taught English and Mathematics in both national and international schools. I am familiar with both syllabuses. My seven years of teaching experience, my masters and my degree have prepared me well for teaching the students in the subject matter. I have enough exposure to modern teaching practices. As a secondary government school teacher, I gained invaluable experiences. I am skilled in preparing the modules and produce many excellent students. I often conduct seminars for SPM candidates in addition to classes. I also specialize in motivating students and improving their self-esteem. Teaching Method(s)
In my seven years of teaching experience, I always impart knowledge to the students by using the best approaches, which can bring out the best in them. I use various techniques and methods depending on the students’ abilities. Every child is different and unique, so every student needs different teaching techniques. I also apply fun teaching techniques to attract the students’ attention and achieve the learning objectives. The practice makes perfect and learning from your mistakes is my specialty. I also use the hands-on method to ensure my students are able to understand the knowledge taught. My vision as a teacher is to help students to develop cognitive, language, physical and social skills required to succeed in their formative years.
