Hi, I’m Liyana. As a new educator, my mission is to inspire and empower students on their learning journey as well as sharing my knowledge as much as possible with students. With a background study in chemical engineering and mechanical engineering, I thrive on making complex concepts accessible and fostering a love for learning. Patient and adaptable, I tailor my approach to each student’s unique needs, creating a supportive environment that encourages growth. Guiding students not just academically, but also in developing critical thinking skills, I am dedicated to cultivating a passion for lifelong learning. First of all, I need to understand the student by assessing their learning style, strengths and weaknesses. Then, I will set a clear goals together with students in order to establish achievable objectives for each session. After that, during a session, I will make sure to have an interactive engagement with students by encourage active participation through discussions, questions and hands-on exercises to enhance comprehension. Besides, I’m very flexible in my teaching methods which I will adjusting to the student’s pace and addressing individual challenges. Other than that, I will incorporate visual aids, charts, and multimedia if needed in order to reinforce concepts and make learning more engaging. I will also periodically evaluate the student’s understanding through quizzes or informal assessments to gauge progress. And last but not least, I hope to have a maintain communication with both students and parents, discussing goals, progress and sharing any concerns promptly.
