Hi I'm a teacher trainee of Institute of Teacher Education Malaysia (IPGM). I have the basic skills in teaching English subject for primary school, since I major in TESL course. Teaching for secondary school on the other hand is still manageable for me. This is because I use English language on a daily basis, and capable of understanding the current secondary school syllabus. I'm dedicated to teach both physical and online classes as teaching English is my passion. I have a friendly personality and I think young or teenage students will love to learn English with me. I also can teach reading in Malay as well as reading Iqra' and Al-Quran. This is because I believe in the knowledge and skills that I have in teaching children to read and my usual night routine of reading the Al-Quran. I am confident that I can teach anyone in need, since I will be a real teacher by the end of this year.Teaching Method(s)
My lesson would be like:1) teaching the topics/skills
2) practice and exercises
3) quiz and game
4) marking and feedback
I love to utilise online learning tools such as Kahoot, Quizziz and Wordwall. I also like to present my materials through Canva slides and incorporating games into my lesson. For me, my teaching materials and instructions should vary as this would be able to prevent my students from feeling bored with the same methods of teaching. For, physical materials, I integrate visuals for flashcards, puzzles and posters.
