I may be new to tutoring but I’ve had experience teaching my younger siblings and friends. I believe every student has their own way of learning. So, I will try to adjust my approach to match them. I’m also very patient. Therefore, if you need a tutor who won’t give up easily, I could be a good fit. I’m confident in teaching Math, Science and English for primary school. What’s important is to know the student’s level in each subject so I can create lessons that really match their needs. It’s always better to focus on their weaknesses and help strengthen those areas so, they can build a more solid foundation. I also hope to get good cooperation from parents so we can work together to help the student improve.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching style is simple but effective. I like to use mind maps, short notes and lots of practice because I believe practice makes perfect. The practice can be from past exam papers, exercise sheets or even fun online quizzes like Kahoot to keep the lessons engaging. During quizzes, I also love to give small rewards because I believe when children are rewarded for their effort, it gives them a sense of accomplishment and encourages them to keep improving and aiming for better results.
