Hello, I'm Kalaivani, a freelance tutor since 2021. I specialize in teaching Tamil, Tamil literature, and Mathematics. With two years of teaching experience, I am passionate about offering free trial classes and providing extra support during exam periods. I excel in identifying and addressing students' weak points, resulting in significant improvements, including several failing students achieving A grades in SPM exams over the past two years.
Teaching Method(s)
I can teach one-on-one in physical classes or online, based on the preferences of students and parents. Before each class, I ensure to send all modules, topics, and questions for review. I believe in the importance of exercises to solidify understanding, so I incorporate them into every session. At the end of each class, I conduct a 10-minute quiz to track students' progress. Weekly assessments are given to focus on targeted chapters for exams, facilitating easier learning. I employ various teaching methods, such as using lyrics, storytelling, and videos, to keep students engaged and enhance retention.
