Currently a fresh graduate from IPG majoring in TESL. Throughout my years of studying, I went to numerous schools be it in Ipoh or Penang, and taught many pupils especially the ones in lower primary (Y1 - Y3). During my 3 months of practical, I managed to get a grip of understanding these pupils in learning especially English. I am fluent in both Malay and English as I am a former Main Convent Ipoh student. I also have the knowledge of psychology in education where I learn about the psychological factors among young learners, therefore it is easier for me to teach students as I will definitely understand them and put in my teaching strategies in use.
Teaching Method(s)
My main focus is to make sure that these pupils know how the language works. My target is to make sure that pupils learn English in a fun and an interesting way that will make them feel like this subject is simple and easy. I will integrate ICT in the teaching and learning process as I did conduct a research of integration of gamification in the teaching and learning process, young learners tend to love playing rather than studying, therefore I integrated those two aspects to make a successful teaching and learning process.
