Hi, I'm Evi! I'm currently waiting for my convocation for my degree in TESL and have some experience teaching both online and in secondary school. I mainly teach English to secondary students, but I've also had the chance to teach English at the primary level. T One of my proudest moments so far is getting an A for my practicum thus showing that I able to connect with my students and keep them interested and understand my lesson. I'm always looking to improve and excited to keep growing as a teacher.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching method involves the use of technology, such as Kahoot, Quizziz, Wordwall, Educaplay and other online teaching tools. During my practicum, I created a Padlet where my students could easily access all the notes provided. Throughout my studies, I learned how to design an effective lesson plan, from planning engaging pre-lesson activities to capture students’ attention, to preparing the necessary materials for the lesson, and designing post-lesson tasks to ensure students fully understand the topic. With this knowledge, I am able to follow all the required teaching standards.
