My preferred name is Miss Dinie. It is the name my students use to address me, and it helps create a friendly and comfortable learning environment. I have one year of teaching experience as a TESL teacher, mainly teaching English to primary school pupils. During this time, I have conducted engaging and interactive lessons, and I also have experience teaching students in one-to-one and small group settings. I always strive to make learning enjoyable while helping students build their confidence and improve their English skills. I have successfully helped pupils improve their English proficiency and confidence, designed engaging and interactive lessons, conducted action research to improve pupils' vocabulary skills, and received positive feedback from mentors, supervisors, and parents for creating a fun and supportive learning environment.
Teaching Method(s)
My teaching method includes game-based learning, interactive quizzes and educational games, storytelling and role-play activities, visual learning using flashcards, videos, and Canva, digital learning, positive reinforcement to build confidence and motivation, differentiated instruction based on each student's learning needs, and continuous assessment through fun classroom activities instead of relying only on written tests.
