About Me
I am Nur Syafiqah, a dedicated and enthusiastic second-year student of Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL) with a CGPA of 3.87 from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). My academic journey has been marked by a strong commitment to excellence, as evidenced by my consistent placement on the Dean's list and participation in various leadership roles within student societies. As Vice President 3 in the Faculty of Education Student Society, Head of the Education Department of UNESCO-UKM and Head of Impacts & Strategy Exco in the Literature and Media Society, I have developed strong organizational and leadership skills.

My passion for teaching extends beyond the classroom; I have been involved in volunteerism programs, including teaching English at an orphanage for students from Primary 1 to Secondary 5. Additionally, I have the ability to create lesson plans and develop custom learning materials tailored to the specific needs of my students. I am eager to gain more knowledge, expand my network, and gain practical insights through this opportunity to excel in my future profession as a teacher. I am committed to making a positive impact in my part-time job.

Teaching Method(s)
My teaching philosophy centres around creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of students. I believe in the power of effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving to enhance the learning experience. My approach is student-centred class and lesson, focusing on fostering critical thinking and creativity through interactive and collaborative activities.

I utilize various digital tools, including Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Canva, to facilitate dynamic and interactive lessons. My goal is to make learning accessible and enjoyable, encouraging students to actively participate and take ownership of their education. I prefer student-centred learning methods, such as group work, mind mapping, and discussions, which encourage students to collaborate, share ideas, and develop critical thinking skills with me as the facilitator. By integrating technology and innovative teaching strategies, I aim to prepare my students for the challenges of the modern world, ensuring they are not only proficient in English but also equipped with essential life skills.
