About Me

My name is Nor Syafiena Binti Salmi, and I am 21 years old. I am a graduate of Tunku Kurshiah College and am currently pursuing a degree in Microbiology at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Although I am new to formal tutoring, I am passionate about education and eager to help students succeed.

During my time at school and UPM, I have developed strong organizational and communication skills. I believe in creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their thoughts. My background in microbiology has equipped me with a strong foundation in scientific thinking and problem-solving, which I am excited to share with my students.

I am dedicated to helping students achieve their academic goals and fostering a love for learning. I am confident that my enthusiasm and commitment will make a positive impact on my students' educational journeys.

Teaching Method(s)

As a tutor, I prioritize creating a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student's unique needs. I begin by assessing their current understanding and identifying areas for improvement. My approach is interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically. I use a variety of teaching methods, including visual aids, real-world examples, acronyms and practice exercises, to ensure concepts are well understood. Additionally, I focus on building strong study habits and boosting confidence, helping students to not only excel academically but also to develop a lifelong love for learning. My goal is to make each session productive and enjoyable, fostering a positive attitude towards education.
