I am a recent graduate with a BSc in Chemistry (Hons) with a passion for helping students excel in science. I have two years of experience tutoring Chemistry (Form 4 & 5), Science (Standard 4- Standard 6 and Form 1 - Form 5) and English (Standard 1 - 4). I focus on tailoring lessons to each child's progress and understanding, ensuring that they grasp the basics while building confidence. I believe in open communication and encourage questions both in and outside of class, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment. Teaching Method(s)
In my teaching sessions, I conduct a 10-minute recall using a mind map at the end of each class to reinforce key concepts. To keep students engaged and assess their understanding, I include pop quizzes and incorporate videos and visuals aids during classes to help students better understand complex topics. Outside the classes I provide students with supplementary learning materials to deepen the understanding of a certain topic. When nearing exam weeks I usually incorporate QnA sessions and working on past year questions.Subject
