In my classroom, I blend Game-Based Learning (GBL) with Discussion-Based Learning to create an engaging and interactive experience. I start by outlining the day's objectives and introduce a game that aligns with the topic, such as a digital math game for problem-solving. The game actively involves students, providing immediate feedback to enhance their understanding.After the game, we transition into a structured discussion. Here, students articulate their thoughts, ask questions, and explore the topic in depth, guided by open-ended questions. This approach not only reinforces the learning from the game but also develops critical thinking and communication skills, making learning both enjoyable and effective.
